Etalca Jackson reached out to me initially in the Spring to shoot her maternity portraits as well as her baby shower in August. Not long after booking the date, she reached out to me about her wedding in June. I was happy to oblige. The wedding was to be held at the Arboretum in the Poetry Garden on the morning of June 29th. Etalca and Chris had been together for several years and decided they wanted something small and private. Only a select few of family and friends were invited.
I arrived at 8am to take some detail shots of Etalca’s dress, rings, bouquet and getting ready. Wendy Zerrudo was also there for Etalca’s makeup. I have to say, small weddings are the best. Nothing was high maintenance and everything went smoothly. Etalca’s father performed the ceremony. Everyone was so laid back and happy to be there for the expecting couple. They decided to go to Another Broken Egg Cafe for a wedding brunch. I was, of course, invited and had a blast. Etalca has some wonderful people in her life. I absolutely loved getting the opportunity to do this for them. Congrats Etalca and Chris!
