Love is certainly in the air and it’s always a great time to propose marriage to the one you love. Choosing to spend the rest of your life with someone is one of the most important decisions anyone can make. It’s also one of those moments that’s exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. So why not have someone capture that it for you? That’s where I come in. I’ve had the pleasure to shoot a few proposals this year. Some proved to be challenging based on the surroundings and timing. For one in particular, shooting at night proved to be difficult and less discreet, simply because I had to use a flash. The Omni Hotel in Dallas, was a wonderful location to choose, with the way the building lit up at night and the Dallas skyline in the background. Others chose to keep it more low-key, with going to brunch at the restaurant they had their first date, or having portraits taken in front of their first home together. Proposals can range from private and intimate to public and elaborate. In the past, I always felt so lucky to witness one by chance because it wasn’t something you would see everyday. Today, I still feel lucky because I get to capture that special moment for people. Check out what I’ve been able to capture this year so far!
