I have a few destination weddings setup this year and my first one takes me to a beautiful resort in Mexico for Thomas and Amber. They originally only had me do their engagement portraits last fall but then decided not long after that they decided to take me along with them for their big day.
Their wedding took place at Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun. I arrived the day before to blue skies that quickly turned to tropical storms. It rained all night and I was starting to worry, not so much for me, but really I just didn’t want it to rain all day on their Thomas and Amber’s day. Luckily by the morning, the rain had subsided and even though it was so humid, the skies stayed a soft glow all day and proved to be perfect picture taking conditions. Aside from it being really windy during their ceremony, all worked out as planned.
Thomas and Amber’s friends and family could not have been more friendly and accommodating. This trip was so much fun and I wish I could have stayed longer. I left everyone hungover, happy and sun-burnt. I did manage to lay on the beach right before my flight home. Oh how I love the beach. Congrats Thomas and Amber
